They're pretty harsh. They're extremely harsh. The legislature has made it so that the State Attorney must, they have no discretion, must charge you with every single image that they've pulled up that they deem to be child pornography, so not only are you charged with the image that they think is outrageous, but every other image that they think is child pornography. Under the sentencing guidelines, this really racks up your potential exposure to 15, 20, 25 years even in the State system. Federal system maybe not as bad, but still around 15 years. It's important that you get an Attorney to do the necessary things in this situation to show the State that you're not somebody that's likely to do this again, and to work out a favorable plea agreement that hopefully does not include any prison time.
